After a few years of face-to-face conferences being out of the question through the pandemic, finally the normal type of conference has returned. Barry Wills’ MEI set up Process Mineralogy 22 in Sitges, Spain, in the first week of November. It was a small conference, but carries a big impact with the advancement of mineral measurement platforms.
This conference series first started as MEI Automated Mineralogy in Brisbane, 2006, and has been presented at several venues every two years. This time around, there were many new developments in mineralogy platforms as well as in data interpretation.
